Sanjukta Das moved to Canada in the summer of 2007. Her mission, passion and journey of life speaks for itself why she is an Advocate of Women Empowerment.

Her journey started at the age of 16 when she had the privilege to work in a Leadership Program with Mother Teresa in India. Ever since then she has been engaged in different volunteer activities for Women  Empowerment and Educational initiatives to assist the community around her to be at its best.

The goal has always been to establish a synergy between community and volunteers like herself to empower members of the community. Sanjukta is also an International Art of Living Teacher, in Canada. She has been conducting Stress Management workshops globally for over 10 years. H.H.Sri Sri Ravi Sharkar, the global Humanitarian and Founder of the Art of living Foundation is her greatest inspiration of life.

As someone who takes responsibility to empower people around her and volunteering as an Art Of Living Teacher has allowed her to understand the dynamics of the community very insightfully. She has delivered  The Art of Living Courses for the improving of the quality of life locally, nationally and globally. As a singer she has enthralled crowds of listeners in her rendition as a principal singer on the stage, in Art Of Living Satsangs across the globe.

In her professional role as a Placement Advisor in Humber Business School, her mission is to help students recognize and reach their highest potential. At Humber she sits in the Diversity Committee and she is excited to merge her passion with a vision, towards women empowerment.

Guided by the simple philosophy that once women are given basic human rights, gender rights will follow, Sanjukta is passionate about the  women empowerment  across the globe at the most basic, human level.

Currently she is actively involved in facilitating Meditation Workshops as she firmly believes, to be unconditionally happy and to have peace of mind, one needs to tap into the power of meditation.  She has been able to bring together her personal experiences, education, background and spirituality to inform her work.

Sanjukta’s message to all women “Let’s Soar Higher Together”.
